WATCH AFTER 0.36 I think I should have written the explanation for the vid, so it's my fault. Those guys volonteered to help villagers fight the upcomming fire. Half an hour before the footage was taken, they safely used the road, which in the video, as you can see, is on fire, to come to the village in the first place. When they understood that nothing can be done in the village and everything will eventually burn, they've decided to drive away asap. But to their surprise the fire got to the road first. Now the reason why they wanted to go back is that there are two roads to the Tamboles village. the one they used in the video (the shortest one) and circumurban road (the longest) due to the fact they wanted to get away asap they've chosen the shortest. I'm looking for an affordable way to permanently store pictures, videos, documents, and music. I am currently using the Sandisk Cruzer Micro USB 2.0 flash drives. I have looked around the internet and have read that flash drives should not be used as a way for permanent storage, that the data retention is about 10 years, and the erase/rewrite cycles range from 10,000 to 1,000,000. I wasn't sure what the data retention and the number of erase/rewrite cycles were for this flash drive, and I worried because they were quite inexpensive. I usually only erase or write on the flash drives once or twice a month by adding some new data or erasing a little bit of old data that I no longer want. Would flash drives be a good option for permanent storage for me? If so, how long should I expect for my flash drives to function properly. If not, I would appreciate any other suggestions. Thanx!
Well I guess it won't be "permanent" storage per se, but I want to keep my data for as long as I'll need it (so however long the flash drive technology lasts before becoming obsolete). So now I was wondering how CDs/DVDs would be better than a flash drive.

Is Flash the way to go or should I start with a class that teaches website design in general? Is Flash even worth it as I have heard there are new similar programs? Do I even need a class? Are tutorials enough? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok now I put all my PSP save files onto a USB cause I have family who are mentally ill you know with down syndrome I let him play my PSP and all my files we're erased but recently my computer broke down so now I do not have Vista anymore I'm using a computer with Windows 98 I need to know how do I view files in the PSP or flash drive to drag and drop like in XP and Vista it's confusing me!!
Ok I downloaded the driver and thanks for the answers but now it wont open the USB driver for my USB Key, or my PSP how do I open it like in XP and Vista, view through Windows Explorer for drag and drop??? So I can just transfer everything from my USB key to my PSP

When I put an SD card from my camera or a USB flash drive into the USB port on my notebook, it says "The card must be formatted". It gives me the option to do that, but says all the data on the card will be lost. It was working fine the day before, I could put in a card and it would pull up the pictures. I put the card in a different computer and it opens up the files just fine.
Seeing how this problem is with the card reader port and the USB port, it makes me think it is a software issue. Is it possible for me to remove the current software and download a new version? I just need some pointing in the right direction and can go from there. Don't need a step by step tutorial.
