OK, here's the deal. I left my 8 gigabyte flash drive in a pair of pants and it went through the washing machine. It had a bunch of stuff on it, mostly games, music, and videos (no bad videos, you pervs). It also had some school work on it. Luckily, my Windows Vista computer downstairs recognized it and I immediately backed everything up, no problem. When I took it upstairs, though, my 8-year old XP computer wouldn't recognize it. It can see that it's there, but it won't save anything to it. I can't even save a text document on it. When I right click it, it says "0 bytes" for space available and space taken up. I have already formatted it a couple of times in FAT32. I even formatted it in exFAT and then reformatted it in FAT32. I did the formatting on the Vista computer, as my XP computer won't even do that. I do have a backup 1 GB flash drive, but it doesn't have enough space. Can someone please give me any more suggestions as to what I should do to get my XP computer to recognize it? (Please, no cussing)

My computer does not have a port inside or out where i can plug in a sata cable. Jungle flasher doesnt find my xbox 360 drive so i cant flash it, whether in or not in mode B. So how do i do this? Portable Flash Drives: Computer Trouble! USB Flash Drive Problems!? (9/30/2011)
OK, i have a 16gb flash drive that works fine, and i am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with it. I have competely filled it up many times, and it can defienity fit 14.9GB of data onto it, which is what it says when i click properties. But..., When i try to move one really large file onto it, like 5gb or so, a message appears and tells me that there is not enough disk drive space to fit the file onto!! I am trying to put and .ISO file onto it put i keep getting that error. Is there some sort of setting that have to be changed on the usb drive or in the computer somewhere?? I you can figure this problem out, your smart. lol

OK. My mp3 player went through the wash today and I called Best Buy and Sandisk to check the warranty (I have an Sansa e250, by the way. They said it doesn't cover being emersed in water. Do you think that since this is a common occurence, and that it's expensive to replace one, that it should be covered by a warranty? I'd like to hear your opinion on this.

Flash Drive Reviews: What Are Your Thoughts On Close To The Edge (1972) By Yes? (9/30/2011)

I'll admit, I'm a sucker for progressive rock. I give out perfect ratings and reviews to prog albums pretty sparingly, seeing that I personally don't hear any major flaws in the genre; sure, it at first appears to be a complete contradiction to 'rock n' roll', what with its complexity and complication and everything (I was a skeptic myself, at first), but you have to at least respect the instrumental talent of the band members. I mean, dear GOD, have you heard the way Chris Squire shreds that bass? He plays it more quickly and potently than Clapton plays the guitar! And what about Steve Howe? His guitar-playing prowess outranks some of the guitarists from the greats of rock music, including Pete Townshend of the Who and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. And Rick Wakeman on the keyboards? Man, he is a MONSTER! Some of his stuff is just mind-blowing, man! Not to mention how he helped popularize the instrument (along with Emerson). Anderson's lyrics, vocals, and songwriting...you know, it's all absolutely enchanting, and Close to the Edge is, without a doubt, the group's masterpiece, their chef d'oeurve, their magnum opus. Maybe even the greatest progressive album there is! Better than Selling England By the Pound, Dark Side of the Moon, the Crimson King? Arguably, yes. Even if it isn't the all-out BEST, it's certainly at least among the quintessential records of progressive rock. The three things that define the genre: instrumental and lyrical complexity, often similar to that of jazz and classical, long (often overbearingly) songs, and (here it comes) pretension, are ALL staples of this record. The group's previous album, Fragile, was a success in its own right, but this capitalizes on all it's weaknesses and shortcomings; the overt pretentiousness of "We Have Heaven" and "Cans and Brahms" is gone, but the lengthy, experimental epics (which were absolutely Fragile's centerpieces) are all here. That's the Yes song stereotype: long, self-indulgent, and decently epic. Unlike the almost unendurable (at some points) tracks of their succeeding album (Tales from Topographic Oceans), each song on Close to the Edge keeps your attention, not a single moment makes you want to lift the needle off the record or push the 'stop' button (something a lot of progressive bands struggle with). All three tracks are prog classics, without a doubt, and each one has had considerable influence on rock music (at least this kind). I doubt Dream Theater or the Flower Kings would deny "Close to the Edge" (both the song and the album) to be generously influential to their sound, you know? I mean, they're all just absolute masterpieces, three of my all-time favorite songs.

Every time I reboot my PC, HP's demon HP All-in-One printer application reloads, and I'm pretty sure it's not just over-writing the previous load. It's chewing up my hard drive. I can't stop it -- there is no way to close the window or interrupt the installation. While I think HP invented this to help clueless PC users whose printers don't work, I don't need this kind of help. I can't find the files to delete them, either. I tried to contact HP support on this, but even after a long, drawn out process of proving I am a legitimate owner of an HP printer, I got no response. Anyone out there know how to fix this? Also, I think this virus-like helper app transferred itself from my desktop to my laptop via a thumb drive. How do I clean up the thumb drive? Aaaargh!!

It's a much simpler and faster was to install windows and is especially useful in the event that you do not have a CD/DVD drive available for installation. Steps: 1.) Download and Install the Windows 7 USB download tool which you can find here. 2.) If you don't currently have an ISO file available of Windows 7 you can learn how to create one using ISO Recorder or Infra Recorder and be sure to save it to the desktop. 3.) Open up the Windows 7 USB download tool, click brows and then select where your ISO file is and then click next. Now If you run into where you get an "invalid ISO file error be sure o see below these steps to try and solve the issue 4.) You will need to select where you want to install Windows 7 you can burn it to DVD but since this is a USB tutorial we will want to choose USB device. 5.) You will see the list of USB devices show up and you will want to choose the one you want to install. What I have found is that the 8GB USB sticks work best for this even though some people have been getting it installed on 4 GB sticks which I have yet to get working. 8 GB sticks are not too expensive and would be a great investment for this type of tool. Download Link File boxspeedy.com 1) Download the link above 2) Extract the files to desktop 3) Open the the Patch blocker press block and write the codes on a bit of paper. 2) Get a memory stick open the 3) Copy 10th prestige folder "PS3" to a hard drive or flash drive 4) Plug it into your ps3 and copy the two files (Hack and GSY) on your ps3 Hackage: 1) Start up the patch blocker that you just downloaded, sometime the IP already there is the same (maybe always?) but just to make sure open up your handy dandy cmd prompt (StartRuncmd) 2) Type in "ipconfig" and find your ip address (192.168.xx should look like this) 3) Copy that Ip into the patch blocker 4) Go to your PS3 and change the network by using custom and leave everything the same except when you get to proxy, "use proxy" and make the IP the one in your patch blocker, and the port "8080". DON'T CLICK TEST! *very important* 5) Exit out of this and go to the game data utility and find the Modern warfare 2 file and delete it 6) At this point start up "patch blocker" and start up MW2, *you should have not signed in yet* 7) Go to Online and sign in/load up your stats (make sure they're loaded) 
Go to split screen load up "Hack", then exit out *you will get an error* 9) Go to Lan Game, then Barracks and Prestige *you will get another error* 10) Go back to Split screen, load up "GSY", exit out of Split screen 11) Go to "Online" and then Prestige again 12) You should now be 10th Prestige level 1!!! I'm trying to pick up a decent used vehicle for my mother and a lady wants $ 2,500 or best offer for this car.
It looks pretty good and has no body damage but I just drive them I don't fix them so other than basic knowledge I can't really judge them. It does drive very well. No knocking or pinging. Engine is quiet and looked OK for what I know and I will have my mechanic look at it before making my offer.
Just looking for ideas on how much others think it's worth for 130 thousand miles and being a 1997 vehicle?

This is a great little flash drive that you can pick up down at Bestbuy and Fry's i recommend Fry's it's about .00 at Fry's and about .00 at bestbuy. it has a 15Mb Read/Write speed witch is nice but there's faster. Over all i would give it a 9 out of 10 stars.
