This flash drive was basically just an IT help tool used to sneaker-net software (drivers, etc.) and references rather than accessing them via network. The only thing that it had that might be a cause of concern was a list of internal IP address. There weren't any user data or passwords stored and that might have been behind an encrypted partition. Should anyone flip?

Sound Blaster Audigy – Temporary Static in Myspace Player only?
I recently updated the drivers to the Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit which was served up to me via Windows Optional Update. I have also updated the adobe flash player to ensure there's no conflict. Local audio files [mp3, wma, etc] play fine. Its when I use the myspace player that a certain range of music gets an extreme amount of static. When I move the volume slider down, and back up the static is completely gone. I'm sure this is an issue with either driver or the myspace's flash player. I have tested this is both firefox and Opera 9.51 browsers.

New HD Sony LCD 52". Very nice. the flash drive is new, 8 GB "geek squad". Videos are off of a new Sony digital camera. When i bring up the home screen on the tv and go to the USB source, I can see pictures on the flash drive, but no videos. Is it possible to view them on there?
The TV does have a USB port on the side...So, I am hooking it directly to the TV.

How To Use Flash Drive: Adjusting Flash Drive Capacity? (10/31/2011)
Bought a 4GB flash drive today, added 184 MB worth of info.
I inserted it into a computer at work (has good security) and it prompted me to format the flash drive. It wouldn't let me view the files without doing so. Even though the formatting would require me to erase everything, I could add the info to the drive again, so I proceeded with the formatting.
Problem was, that it only gave the the capacity option of 1.00 MB. Now, no matter how many times I have tried to re-format it (even with other computers) it is stuck at the 1.00 MB (or more like 0.97 MB) limit.
Any way I can fix this? Or else it's going back to Office Depot.
This is how to RUN Windows XP on a USB Drive, not how to make it so you can use a USB drive to install windows onto a hard drive, that information is what you get from 9/10 search results. If it doesn't need those files, you can delete them (PowerISO registered lets you edit ISO files.) Thumb Drive: Repetitive Noises Drive Me Crazy!? (10/31/2011)
I don't know what my problem is! Certain noises, expecially if they are repetitive drive me insane! I once threw my watch (nice watch) against the wall and broke it because it was ticking so loud. When my stepdaughter sucks her thumb, making the slurpping noise, I can't stand it! I can't stand any noise made from someone's mouth including movie kissing scenes, loud chewing, etc. I can't concentrate on anything if the slightest noise is in the room, and certainly can't sleep with any kind of noise, including the tv. I feel bad about my stepdaughter particularly because when she comes to visit her dad, she wants me to sleep in the same room with them, but I don't, because if I did, I wouldnt get any sleep and would have no energy to spend with her the following day. (the noise is from her thumb sucking). Tapping on tables and other noises have the same effect on me. This may not sound related, but I don't like to be touched too much either... as in I want to jerk away from the person thats trying to touch me. Hugs dont bother me, just pointless touching, like on the arm or head, etc... The reason I bring this up is because I wonder if these two things are related to a larger problem? I've been like this my whole life, but I'm better than I used to be. I used to have some habits that suggested a mild case of O.C.D.. Any suggestions, or comments would be helpful.

Okay, so the Adobe company or whatever developed the new flash player 9. I tried to download it. After it's done it says "you have downloaded adobe flash player 9" or whatever. I go into my programs list on my computer and it also says that adobe 9 is installed. However, when i try to play a video or go to a website that requires flash 9 it says that i dont have it. Ive tried going to all the sites to download it and it still doesnt work. Its starting to really annoy me. I need help!!!

Running XP SP1 w/ Norton 2003 and Norton Firewall.
Using IE 60 amd Latest Firefox.
Had problem with both IE and Firefox. Turned off Norton Ad Blocking and Firefox worked but IE did not. Second machine: ZA with Nort AV. All work there. IE/Firefox setting same on both machines. Have to believe problem is somehow in IE, Has anyone uninstalled and reinstalled IE. Am at a loss. I wonder if YouTube has duplicated prob on any test machines. Six months is a awful long time to be troubleshooting a problem. Yeah, know - use Firefox - still would like an answer with I.E.
I got IE6/Firefox on 4 machines. All setting are the same for the relative software. Only one IE does not work but the Firefox does. That indicates to me that the Nortons are not at fault but that something in the one version of IE is at fault. The questions I had: Has anyone tried to remove then reload IE. I just find it hard to believe that YouTube has not been able to duplicate the problem in 6 months of checking.
The stock answers do not appear to work. I did have one machine where the Firefox got the same answer. Turned off Ad Blocking and problem was solved with respect to Firefox. Just trying to figure out what is causing the problem with IE and youTube. Yeah - I can use Firefox - just want to figure out why IE appears to be broke in a lot of cases. Thanks for the comeback

That's all I want it to do, just show JPG files. My large HDTV allows viewing JPGs from a thumb drive through a USB port in the side, so I'm hoping there's some device available that will, in essence, add this feature to a TV that doesn't already have it. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for a way to view back-lit reference photos in my art studio without setting up a whole computer station or video area, because space is limited. I was hoping there might a little external device for that, and all I would need to have taking up space would be a small LCD TV. But I think you're right, a lap top is probably the best answer

I have a 4GB PNY Flash Drive. A few weeks ago at school I saved some scans onto it at the computer lab, went to grab some lunch, and when I came back it wouldn't read of flash the little green light when I plugged it in. This was on a Mac. When I brought it home it at first wouldn't register on my PC.
Now I'm trying desperately to recover some files and when I plugged it in it says the file drive isn't recognized and is prompting me to reformat. Any way to get around this and still recover my files? I've already tried uninstalling the driver and rebooting.

omg, to every one that says click format, I CANT. it will stop when i click format and say to insert the flash drive when it is inserted. the only person to be remotelly correct is the guy saying that the os cant read fatx. he is right. but i want to fix it. i have a program that reads fatx internal drives. i need one for the flash drive. Ok so I recently lost my flash drive. When plugged into both my PC desktop and my Mac laptop it would show up and work fine. I went out and bought a new flash drive today.
