My computer's battery died and I had it unplugged from the charger because the charger broke (i'm buying a replacement). I had it propped up against the bed and knocked a cup with a little bit of iced tea in it. The ice tea wet the charger port and usb port so it's possible my computer is broken. I won't know until I get the charging cable in the mail. If it is, is it possible to salvage the files saved on the computer and transfer them to another computer or portable USB flash drive?

I have this little 4 gig cruzer flash drive that I want to watch movies off of on my ps3. Whenever I plug it into my ps3, the files don't show up (even when I press triangle or whatever). The system recognizes it, I just can't see the file. So, if anyone knows how to make the flash drive compatible or how to even view the files, let me know. & if it makes any difference, I'm trying to watch torrents. Thanks!

my release date 60 gig ps3 modded with the Kmeaw 3.55 CFW, use multiman version 1.14, it takes care of the lv2 an permissions fix, i used the blackbox FTP v1.2 and flashFXP to transfer my games from my computer txt tutorial Modding PS3 With Kmeaw 3.55 to Play Backups 1 - make sure your ps3 is on retail firmware, official playstation firmware.... (if its not then download the official firmware an install from recovery mode) 2 - once your ps3 is on the official fireware download the kmeaw 3.55 CFW 3 - install this firmware the same as the official in step 1 through recovery mode... 4 - once firmware is installed u'll see 2 new options in your games section... Is there a way to format a USB flash drive so that its contents can't be copied or pasted elsewhere? Let's say I put something on there like an application. Can’t read the USB flash drive?
Well I have an Apacer 8GB usb flash drive. I've had it for 5-6 months and it suddenly stopped working. When I put it in,my computer says it's there. It opens but when I try to put my files on it just says "could not find this item. This is no longer located in Computer.Verify the item's location and try again."

Flash Drive Sandisk: How Do I Fix The Xbox 360 Open Tray Error? (11/29/2011)
Where can I safely purchase a new Xbox 360 Lite-on DG-16D2S DVD drive? Or a new laser for it it?
I have an issue with the Xbox 360 Open Tray Error. When I put a disc in the motor begins to spin it and the laser pats up and back down correctly one time before it raises and flashes red then stops causing the disc to not read and the motor to stop spinning. I've seen it suggest many times so I will answer this question before it is asked: The white plastic piece is on correct. I am aware of the motor issues and of the laser issues that plague all versions of the Xbox 360, however which one of these issues are mine?
Initially I was able to tap the top of my Xbox as the disc began to read which would "kick start" it. I only had to do this for certain games, eventually I had to do this for all games, I ended up scratching one disc due to frustration and intensive tapping (lol). Now nothing works.
I know of 5 options:
1.) Send the Xbox to Microsoft
I am not interested in this option. I have already opened the case and my warranty is void (at least that is what I have been lead too believe, even still if I have been informed incorrectly I do not wish to send it to Microsoft.)
2.) Purchase a new drive and flash it
I am also not interested in this method. I have never flashed a drive before, I do not have the correct programs, I do not have a connectivity set, I do not have experience.
3.) Purchase a new Lite-on drive
I am in favor of this option. I will unsolder the connections and replace the new drives PCB card with the old drives PCB card. This should take care of the issue but ***Where will I buy the Lite-on drive?*** I have looked at many websites...most have bad or very mixed reviews...no certainty I am getting a legit "new drive", and I have called my local retailers none have this particular model in stock.
4.) Buy a new laser
At first I thought the motor was the issue but after taking the top metal cover off of the drive and watching the laser and motor with no disc, I have come to realize that the motor seems to be spinning fine however the laser does not look to be working properly as I described before. I am uncertain as I am very unexperienced with DVD drive repairs.
5.) I do not wish to purchase a new Xbox 360 or dumpster dives for a good Drive. Thank you

If your computer is able to run Combat Arms (it meets all the system requirements and so forth), but has never seen Combat Arms, but you have the Combat Arms file saved to a jump drive, and the jump drive is connected to the computer, and you were to pull up Combat Arms and click "start game", would you be able to play Combat Arms without having to first install it?
