What’s a good laptop?

Alright, so I am almost 13 years old and was decieding between either a laptop or to wait for the ipad 2. I have decided to choose the laptop due to various reason. Including flash, DVD player, movie maker, ect. I wanted an apple but since I am only in the 7th grade, i figure i shouldn't go for that just yet. maybe for high school. but if I'm looking for a laptop that has a webcam, dvd player, preferably available at Best Buy, Target, or any well-known stores. So, which laptop do you recommend?
